Re: What Happens Once the Oil Runs Out?

Dear Sir/Madam,

If we were to come out of our state of collective denial and face up to reality, we would realise that we are addicted - quite literally - to fossil fuels, and are plundering our planet - again quite literally - to satisfy our craving.

Either we get dry or we die.

But since it probably won’t be us, but our children and grandchildren, who will be doing the dying, most people don’t seem to care. Which is terribly unjust and ungrateful when you think of all the work and sacrifices made by OUR forebears so that WE could have it BETTER than they did.

We weren’t worth it. Just a disgrace to the human race.

Or did I hear someone say, they DO care?

Then take a deep breath and prepare to come out of denial . . . @ http://www.spaceship-earth.org
