For those tired of the "rat race", of the madness and superficiality of modern, mass consumer/capitalist society, family history, I suggest, is a good place to start looking for a deeper, more meaningful and hopeful, sense of purpose, identity and belonging.

Cultivating an interest in our ancestors can help us appreciate the essential role WE have as the LINK between them and our descendents, whose future is now in the balance, because of the way we are treating the planet they will inherit from us.
