Bizarre. Imperial Britain seems to play no part in your history at all.

Imperial Britain was an episode of British history which was over before I was born.

And besides, the majority of British people suffered as much under British Imperialism as anyone else.

And anyway, just because Europeans discovered the rest of the world, it does not mean we want them all to come and live with us! The Japanese aren't queuing up to come here (except as tourists). They looked, learned and created their own affluent society. It is hard work, of course. Much easier to come to Western Europe or America where most of the hard work has already been done - by my parents, grandparents, etc.

It suits the capitalists, of course, to harvest the best brains and cheap labour of the 3rd world, bringing those they can use over here. One really cannot accuse them of being racist. All they care about is the colour of your money.

Personally I think that the colour of one's skin, i.e. the genes it is a marker for, which are carried in every cell of our bodies, and indicate the origins of our ancestors, is more important.

Not "all" important, but important.
