Re:    Denying the importance (if not existence) of race, and other insanities of normality

In response to "The rise of the contingent racists" by Zia Haider.

Since the defeat of Nazism with its insane and abhorrent racial doctrines it has been politically opportune (not just but especially on the liberal Left, where it has become ideological dogma), if not to deny its existence, certainly to deny that race has any social significance whatsoever, other than to dismiss and condemn anyone who thinks it does a "racist".

This has proved a very effective way of outing political opponents: one word of opposition to the politics of mass immigration or to the multiracial/multicultural society it creates, and you are a "racist". Thus, we have got ourselves into this insane situation.

I've just learned that since New Labour came to power in 1997 over 1 million immigrants have obtained British citizenship. This, of course, has had no effect on the housing situation - only a "racist" would suggest so.

As if our country were not already, natively and unsustainably, overpopulated! As if it were not difficult enough for people of the SAME ethnicity, culture and history to get alone harmoniously in large numbers together; as if bringing, not just a few, but millions of people of different race, culture and history together were not bound to result, sooner or later, in serious ethnic conflict! The naivety (if that's the right word) of those who assure us it won't, beggars belief (but by pointing this out, I'm willing it to happen and being a "racist", of course! better to dismiss me and continue with the madness).

As with the Sustainability Problem (our inherently unsustainable economy and way of life), we have gone so badly wrong (allowed ourselves to be led into such a hopeless situation by our idiot politicians; not that they should be given all the blame - just most of it) that it is difficult to comprehend, let alone, see a way out. Much easier to pretend that everything is honky-dory, or moving that way.

There is a way out, I'm sure, but only if we recognise and understand the MADNESS of what is going on - the insanities of what we call normality - and tell our politicians (ever so politely) that we don't need or want them to lead us anymore (thank you very much, after getting us into this mess in the first place), but will lead ourselves!

How? That is the challenge we have to rise to if we want to save our civilization, and perhaps the whole world.
