Dear Sir/Madam,
As one of the main pillars of
our unsustainable,
growth-dependent economy and
grossly materialistic, equally
unsustainable, lifestyles,
advertising has no
future. Because it is driving
us, quite literally, to
plunder our planet,
making all efforts to achieve sustainability
pointless.
It is a problem that virtually
everyone (not just you at the
NYT) are in denial of, because
the solution requires radical
changes to our way of life and
doing business.
As usual, you will probably dismiss my words (if you read them) as unworthy of a moments thought - and along with them, your own children's future.
However, if you are inclined
to give it some thought (you
should at least make very sure
that I'm mistaken), you might
like to check out my website
